Okay, we get it, pretzels! Yay, pretzels.
Also I know we were talking about Prime Meats earlier but my goodness, the Times is really obsessed. The pretzel story has a huge photo of the Prime Meats pretzels in the same issue and same section as Sifton’s two-star review. And the Franks were just featured in that big article about stoner chefs, and were also cited in this article about local chains that ran in September. And in December Sifton named PM as one of his favorite new restaurants of 2009 and called its Prime Manhattan one of the best “dishes” of the year.
Plus I’m not even mentioning all the times they were just cited in passing, which was a lot.
I am already on the record as saying I love Prime Meats, but, still, wow.
