Apparently I also roasted a chicken tonight. Because what else am I gonna do on a Tuesday?
(N.B.: I used Jamie Oliver’s instructions for “perfect roast chicken,” and, hey, it’s pretty perfect. I have his Jamie’s Food Revolution cookbook and it’s really great for simple, delicious meals. It’s not as comprehensive but the recipes are much better than Mark Bittman’s How to Cook Everything, which I often find is just … bad. His roast chicken directions, for example, have more than once left me with raw chicken.)
